Privacy policy
Takivo is an organic content tracking tool. It measures how videos published by creators for a brand perform, and works out what each creator is owed. This page says exactly what is recorded, why, and for how long.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Malaki Dynasty LLC, 1007 N Orange St, 4th Floor, Suite 5050, Wilmington, DE 19801, USA. Any question: contact@takivo.co.
What Takivo records, and why
Your account
- Your email address: it is what signs you in, and it is used to tell you when a payout request is accepted.
- Your first and last name: to identify you in the brand's space and on your payments.
- Your language and, if you fill it in, your country: to show Takivo in the right language and format.
- A personal link number (107, for example): the public address that lets visits be credited to your work.
Your social accounts
The names of your Instagram, TikTok or YouTube accounts, as you type them yourself. Takivo never connects to those accounts and never asks for a password: it only reads information that is already public.
Your videos and their statistics
- The address of the videos you add, their title, publication date and thumbnail.
- Their view, like and comment counts, measured regularly, and the day-by-day history of those measurements.
These numbers are public on the platforms. They are used to work out your pay and to show how you are progressing.
Your bank details
To pay you, Takivo records the account holder's name, the IBAN and possibly the BIC, or a bank document you upload. A tax identification number may also be recorded if the brand needs it for its accounts.
The bank document is kept in private storage: it is never reachable from a public address. When the brand needs to view it, Takivo creates a link valid for one minute, and records that viewing in its log.
Visits to your link
When someone clicks your link, Takivo records only the date and time, your creator id and, when known, the video it came from. No IP address, no visitor id, no advertising cookie. It is therefore impossible to know who clicked.
Sales
When a sale happens on the brand's website, Takivo receives its amount, date and a payment reference. No buyer data — no name, no address, no email, no payment method — ever enters Takivo.
Your payments
Your payout requests, their amount, their video-by-video breakdown, their status and their dates. That breakdown is what guarantees the same view is never paid to you twice — nor forgotten.
The decision log
Takivo keeps a record of the brand's decisions: pay terms set, video accepted or declined, payout accepted, transfer made, bank document viewed. This log protects both sides should a disagreement arise.
What Takivo never does
- No password is stored: signing in uses a one-time code sent by email.
- No card details, on either side.
- No advertising cookie, no tracker, no third-party analytics.
- No selling of data, to anyone, ever.
- No access to your social accounts: Takivo only reads what is already public.
Who sees what
- You, the creator: your details, your videos, your views, your pay, your payments. You never see sales, revenue, or any other creator's data.
- The brand: the details of the creators working with it, their videos, performance and cost, and its own sales.
This separation is not just about what is displayed: it is enforced by the database itself, row by row, and checked automatically on every update to Takivo.
The providers involved
- Supabase — database and sign-in codes.
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Resend — sending emails.
- ScrapeCreators — reading public video statistics. Only a video address is sent to it.
- Stripe — tells Takivo a sale happened, with no buyer data.
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with your Google account.
Where the data is
The servers running Takivo are located in the United States (Vercel, Washington DC region). The database is hosted by Supabase. Transfers outside the European Union rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, offered by these providers.
How long data is kept
- A video's statistics: measured for 60 days after publication. After that Takivo stops reading it, but the figures already measured remain as history.
- Your account and your videos: as long as the collaboration lasts.
- Your bank details: erased when your account is closed, or as soon as you ask.
- Payments and the decision log: kept to meet the brand's accounting and tax obligations, even after your account is closed. This is the only category that survives account deletion, and it contains no IBAN and no bank document.
- Link visits: kept as dates only, with no way to trace them back to a person.
Your rights
You can ask to see your data, correct it, receive it in a reusable format, have it deleted, or object to its processing. You can also withdraw your consent at any time by closing your account.
Most of this information is already visible and editable in your space, under Profile, where you can also delete your account yourself. For anything else, write to contact@takivo.co. You will get an answer within 30 days.
If you live in the European Union and the answer does not satisfy you, you can refer the matter to your country's data protection authority — in France, the CNIL.
Cookies
Takivo only sets what it needs to work: a session cookie, which keeps you signed in, and a display preference (light or dark theme) kept in your browser. No advertising cookie, nothing shared with a third party. That is why Takivo shows you no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Changes
This policy may change as Takivo changes. The date it was last updated is shown at the bottom of the page. If anything important changes about how your data is used, you will be told in your space.
