Terms of use

By creating an account on Takivo, you accept what follows. It is short on purpose: three clear rules beat ten pages nobody reads.

1. What Takivo is

Takivo is a measurement and calculation tool, published by Malaki Dynasty LLC. It reads the public performance of videos, counts visits to creators' links, matches sales reported by the brand, and works out pay from the terms the brand has set.

Takivo is not a payment service. It holds, transfers and collects no money. It shows what is owed and tracks a transfer's progress; the brand makes the transfer from its own bank.

Takivo is not the creator's employer and is not a party to the agreement between the creator and the brand. Amounts, deadlines and obligations are settled between the brand and the creator.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18, or have your legal guardian's consent.
  • The information you give must be accurate, in particular your identity and bank details.
  • Your access is personal: the sign-in code sent to your inbox is not to be shared.
  • One account per person. Creating several accounts to multiply earnings is grounds for immediate closure.

3. The videos you add

  • You must be the author of the video, or have the right to publish it.
  • The video must be public: without that, Takivo cannot read its views.
  • The brand may accept or decline a video. A declined video earns nothing, and you are told why.
  • Deleting or hiding a video that has already been paid does not make the amount payable again, but the brand may take it into account going forward.

4. How pay is worked out

  • The brand sets the terms: a fixed monthly amount, a rate per 1,000 views, a bonus, or a combination.
  • Those terms are dated. A month is always paid with the terms that applied to that month: changing a rate today changes no past month.
  • Only views on accepted videos count, and only those not already paid.
  • The figures come from the platforms. They may be corrected by them, in particular when artificial views are removed.
  • A payout request freezes the views it covers. While it is open, those views cannot be claimed anywhere else.

5. Payment

  • You request your payment from your space, once your bank details are complete.
  • The brand accepts or declines. Declining loses you nothing: the views become available again for a later request.
  • After acceptance, the brand makes the transfer. Arrival depends on the banks, usually 2 to 5 working days.
  • Tax and social obligations on your income are yours. Depending on your country, you may need a status that allows you to invoice.

6. What is not allowed

  • Buying views, using bots, or inflating statistics artificially in any way.
  • Claiming a video that is not yours.
  • Trying to reach another creator's data or the brand's sales figures.
  • Disrupting how Takivo works, or extracting its data automatically.

Where these rules are broken, the brand may reject views, suspend pay or close the account. Amounts corresponding to clearly artificial views are not owed.

7. Availability

Takivo is provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted service. Measurements depend on outside services: a platform outage can delay an update to your views. The figures shown are those read at the last pass, not an official platform figure.

8. Your bank details

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the bank details you provide. A transfer sent to an account you mistyped cannot be recovered.
  • The account must be in your name. Takivo asks for the account holder's name precisely to avoid transfers to third parties.
  • Your bank document is kept in private storage. The brand can only view it to prepare your transfer, and every viewing is recorded.
  • You can replace your details at any time from your profile. They are erased if you delete your account.

9. Intellectual property

Your videos and your image remain yours. Adding a video to Takivo transfers no rights over it: it only allows Takivo to read its public statistics and to show its title and thumbnail to you and to the brand, for the duration of the collaboration. Any rights the brand has to use your content come from your agreement with it, not from Takivo.

Conversely, the Takivo name, logo, interface and code belong to their publisher. You may not copy them, imitate them, or extract their content automatically.

10. Limitation of liability

Takivo is a measurement and calculation tool. It cannot be held liable for: a figure that is wrong because a platform reported it wrong, a view removed after the fact, a delayed bank transfer, a disagreement between you and the brand, or lost earnings.

What is owed is what the brand owes under the terms it has set. Takivo guarantees no income, no view count and no sales.

11. Your data

What is recorded, for how long, and how to ask for deletion is set out in the privacy policy.

12. Suspension and closure

You can close your account at any time, from your profile: it takes effect immediately and erases your bank details. Amounts owed for views already validated remain owed. Accounting records are kept by the brand in line with its legal obligations.

The brand, for its part, may suspend or close an account where the rules above are broken, in particular for artificial views or a wrongly claimed video. A suspension is notified to you in your space, with its reason.

13. Changes to these terms

These terms may change. If anything important changes, you will be told in your space. Continuing to use Takivo means accepting the new version.

14. Governing law

Takivo is operated by Malaki Dynasty LLC, a company formed in the State of Delaware, United States. These terms are governed by the law of the State of Delaware, and the competent courts are those of that State. Should a dispute arise, an amicable solution will be sought first by writing to contact@takivo.co. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you keep the benefit of the protective rules of your country of residence.
